Spring Mill, Roundwood pit stack and Roundwood pit before the construction of Queen's Drive. In the 1950s, Spring Mill was owned by the Bickle Brothers, rag merchants, mungo manufacturers, carbonisers and dyers. The Bickles also had premises at Northfield Mill on Church Street in Ossett.
