A 1940s look at the junction of Dale Street with Wakefield Road, Flushdyke. The buildings in the foreground were demolished and replaced with old folk's bungalows sometime in the 1960s. The house on the far right of the picture has recently been up for sale and is very much still in existence. The house on the far left belonged to the Mitchell family and is now a vet's surgery.
