In the area of Lodge Hill at Flushdyke is Jaw Hill, also known locally as "Top o’ Wood" and from here this drawing shows the view looking south towards Ossett. The 329m tall TV transmitting mast at Emley Moor is prominent on the skyline to the left, as is the 70m tall spire of Trinity Church, Ossett, which dwarfs the water tower at Gawthorpe on the right, which comes in at a modest 35m in height.
