Giggal Hill about 1900

This picture shows Giggal Hill as it was around the turn of the 19th century. Pollards off-licence shop and the long row of terraced houses are long since gone and there is now a gated entrance to Green Park where the terraced houses used to stand. The building with the clockhouse at the top of the hill is the South Ossett Co-operative store, which I think is now a carpet shop.
